Clothes, plaster casts, bandages and metal implants, do not influence and are not affected in any way with this form of magnetic induction therapy. It is not invasive and there is no trauma for the patient or need of constant monitoring by the therapist. If the applicator pad is placed next to the body (unnecessary) or placed between bedclothes, etc., there may be a slight thermal effect noticed. This is not an intended part of the therapy but may be utilised where the therapist so desires.
