A few years ago, a friend of mine that was travelling all over the world brought one of the pinhole glasses to me because he told me the glasses are used to correct visual problems naturally. I was surprised by the news and started using them increasing the amount of time while wearing the glasses step by step (i.e. first week 5 mins. the next 10 mins and so on) as my friend recommended me to use the pinhole glasses. The results after a few days of using the glasses were terrific. My vision was improved in a great manner and I was excited about it. Later I have seen the same product packaged in different ways being marketed in a few other countries such as the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Singapore. Trying on the glasses, I found that vision is indeed sharper. There is a dramatic improvement of my myopia. For example, my usual acuity is so bad it's off the eye chart. However with the pinholes, I could get about 20/60 vision in bright light. This phenomenon is well-understood and used by opticians in eye-testing to determine the best-correctable vision. However since I started reading the closed caption on TV screen with the pinhole glasses (one hour a day) for about a month ago, my eyesight actually started to get clearly better. I was amazed because with just watching TV with a pinhole glasses did not help me improve eyesight. But when I began reading the caption on TV, just within two weeks, I could see things more clearly.
