FLOWERBASE Information Modules

The following information modules are available for use with FLOWERBASE. Each module contains full remedy descriptions, key words, and remedy statements. Please select the module which you wish to read about;

Information on remedies included in FLOWERBASE are stored in separate modules, which are comprised of various database files and corresponding indexes, to aid fast searches. Generally, a therapist should select modules corresponding to the Flower Remedies which they prescribe. For instance, a Therapist prescribing Californian FES Remedies, as well as the Living Essences of Australia range would require the English and FES Remedy module, as well as the Living Essence module to obtain maximum prescribing scope.

Much of the information in FLOWERBASE data modules has been extracted unaltered from specific references, which ensures that remedy information does not become degenerated.

English and FES Flower Essence Remedies

This module includes the English remedies, pioneered by Dr. Edward Bach, as well as the Californian FES Remedies. Descriptions of all remedies, as well as remedy statements for use in the Screening Assessment were written by Patricia Kaminski and Richard Katz, Co-directors of the Flower Essence Society, California. This module offers by far the largest range of remedies, with a massive search scope. All descriptions and key words have been directly transcribed from the Flower Essence Repertory. As well as enabling searches and assessment against the Californian FES Remedies, the module includes English remedies, pioneered by Dr. Bach. All information included in this module is based on extensive scientific research of the Flower Essence Society, who maintain a policy of releasing new information on remedies only when proven through objective observation.

Dr. Bach's Remedies Today

This module contains descriptions of English remedies, pioneered by Dr. Bach earlier this century. Remedy descriptions have been transcribed from the book by Mark Wells, The Bach Flowers Today, offering descriptions from a modern view point. Although remedy statements for use in the Screening Assessment are the same as those in The Herbal Remedies of Dr. Bach, descriptions are a lot more extensive, offering application of remedies for many modern conditions presented by patients when compared to Dr. Bach's original descriptions. This module is a must for Therapist's who prescribe English remedies.

Alaskan Flower Essences

This module represents the Alaskan Flower Essences, and is based on the book The Essence of Healing by Steve Johnson. The module includes full descriptions, key words, and remedy statements on 72 Flower, 48 Gem, and 12 Environmental Essences. Steve Johnsons personal annotations to this module capture the pristine and pure environment of the untouched Alaskan landscape, offering remedies for a mass array of emotional conditions. This module is the second largest in the collection of the Flowerbase modules (with FES being the largest), and could easily be used by modern flower essence therapists without the support of other information modules. The essence remedies in this module address many modern conditions of the nineties being faced by clients and presented to therapists.

Masters Flower Essences

Masters Flower Essences information module is based on "The Essential Flower Essence Handbook" by Lila Devi, which represents 20 remedies all uniquely based on fruit blossoms. It was originally the great yoga Master Paramahansa Yogananda who offered interpretation on the fruit blossoms, and it is His interpretations which Lila has used to formulate remedy properties, and the "language of the flowers" (included in the introduction to this module). Masters Flower Essences are the second oldest flower essence company next to Bach Remedies, being founded in 1977. Since that time, Lila has collected case studies and other information to further refine the interpretations of a Master. This module is truelly a valuable addition to every Flowerbase users compendium of remedy information, even if only for the theory discussing the language of the flowers. Whole Energy Essences

The Whole Energy Essences information module is our most recent addition to our family of information modules, and represents a diverse array of emotional issues across a number of remedy sets. As well as having the standard myriad of flower derived remedies, Deborah Bier's 63 remedies consist of fruit, gem, and moonlight derived remedies. Each of the remedies have many properties not covered by earlier modules relating to todays issues, with the moon essences presenting zodiacal portraits, and equally interesting properties in the fruit and gem essences. The Remedies of Dr. Bach

This module was one of the first FLOWERBASE modules published, and represents the English remedies pioneered by Dr. Bach in his own words. All descriptions have been extracted directly from The Twelve Healers written by Dr. Edward Bach in 1933. Therapists considering this module should use the module as a supplement to English and FES Flower Essence Remedies and Dr. Bach's Flowers Today, which offer far more scope on Dr. Bach's remedies.

Living Essences of Australia

This module represents the Living Essences of Australia range of remedies. Descriptions have been extracted from the Video Correspondence course run by Living Essences, whereas statements were written by Greg James Hernon, under the approval and guidance of Drs. Vasudeva and Kadambii Barnao. This approach has ensured that all remedy information has been captured in the words of the researchers.

Home garden Flower Essence Remedies

Home garden Flower Essences is a range of flower and leaf essences prepared from plants which grow in our own home gardens and flourish in our own environment with all it's pollutants. These are the plants we have grown up with. We have played amongst them as children, and now they are helping us.

All 86 essences and 3 creams are made according to individual specifications and include the energies of particular stones and crystals. They are also energised under a pyramid and infused with Reiki symbols. Leaf essences are unique to this range as are the steps mentioned, and the whole process is carried out by hand with each bottle and cream individually prepared, and each box painted with loving care. This makes them a truly unique and powerful range of remedies which are now available in Queensland (Australia) either in sets or as individual stock bottles.
