Astrology, the Aura and the Bush Essences.... by Kerrie Redgate ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My fervent wish is to convince healers of all persuasions to explore astrology as a diagnostic tool, to complement any other form of diagnosis, for use with Flower Essence therapy. l would also like to stress the imbalance of Waratah Essence for healing at the level of Spirit. In the Western world, the term Astrology is usually associated with brief key words for sun sign personality traits. For example, when I say Aquarius your mind may jump to "unusual", "humanitarian", "detached'', etc. In fact Aquarius is really a very fast, high frequency wave form. All physical manifestation is the result of vibrational frequency or wave patterns. The core of matter is made purely of energy waves. Astrology is the study of these waves and their origin in the Cosmos. It is simply a language to describe wave lengths of sound vibration. There are octaves of resonance within this system, just as we find in music, with the underlying energy or note being of the same harmonic. This occurs through the planets, asteroids, Trans-Neptunian planets and the constellations. There are 12 basic wave lengths of sound frequency in music and astrology. These are described by the 12 constellations which are aligned with the path of the Earth. The planets in our Solar System are transformers and each resonates to a particular constellation. They step down the energy so that we can consciously assimilate it and direct it through our will. All heavenly bodies emit a musical tone. The actual note comes not from the spin but from the orbit. The Astrological birth chart is a representation of the map of the sky at the moment when we take our first breath (the chi, ki or prana and music of the heavens at that instant), That is normally the time when the soul enters the body. Each energy grid in the cosmos at every moment is unique. No two charts are ever the same. Not even with twins. This brings us to the age old problem of an accurate birth time. I have found kinesiology to be the most reliable method for obtaining the correct time of birth. Astrology can be used to diagnose conditions at the physical body (constitutional) level when combined with knowledge of the elements, such as in Eastern medicine; or it can very successfully be applied to the understanding of ones psychological makeup, at the emotional and subconscious levels. However, the real gem emerges when Astrology is adopted for information regarding the state of the auric body and Chakras - our vibrational resonance, as this is the level at which Flower Essences operate. In my work I have always attracted clients who are at a crossroad in their life, and who have talents that they cannot quite get in touch with; or professional healers who have further potential that they cannot realise. I have managed to discover, through my 7 years of research, how to read the past lifetime blocks that sabotage our aspirations, not at the psychological level but at the Spiritual or Causal body level. This is the realm of the unconscious concepts about life which may have developed in ancient times. There are only two modalities that I have found will shift blocks at this level - one is Spiritual healing and the other is Flower Essence therapy with Essences that have been released since 1977. The reason for the sudden emergence in Flower Essence research, after almost five decades of non activity since Edward Bach's time, was the discovery of the comet/planetoid Chiron in November 1977. Whenever a planet which has been around for quite some time is suddenly sighted, named and acknowledged, the energy frequency from that body becomes available to us in a conscious way. At the time when Dr Bach was introducing his Flower Essences as healing modalities, it coincided with the discovery of the planet Pluto in 1930. Pluto resonates with our animal survival mechanisms which produce our phobias and unconscious motivations. This is the base chakra activity. Pluto also heralded the public interest in psychology as a means of learning about the dark side of the brain. The Bach remedies had the key to these problems as they are wonderful for healing psychological and emotional issues. However, those original essences did not clear blockages at the causal level, or outermost rim of the aura, where our Higher Self resonates. Collectively, we were simply not ready to operate at that level, in a conscious way, in the earlier part of this century. This brings us back to Chiron. This body is said to be a visitor to our Solar System and is caught in orbit around our Sun, between Saturn and Uranus. In mythology Chiron was a master teacher who taught heroes and warriors (Jason, Hercules, etc.), messengers/runners such as Achilles, and miraculous healers such as Aesclepius. In other words, he taught people how to accomplish their task, to reach their chosen destiny. This is the task of our Spirit or Higher Self, trying to steer the personality vehicle through life’s obstacles. In mythology the accidental wounding of Chiron via one of his own poisoned arrows causing him to surrender his immortality in order to escape the endless pain, is simply the clue to his function in our psyche. Our spirit must leave the body behind at the end of each lifespan and begin again with a vehicle that has no conscious memory of the accumulated pain of previous lifetimes. Astrologically, Chiron affects the crown chakra and indicates the growth orientation for this lifetime: the area of life that we want to explore and experience completely and then to utilise as our gift to others. All Astrological influences enter our auric system as vibrations via the Causal Body and through the crown chakra to the brain. With the discovery of Chiron we are now able to access our Higher Self, including past lifetime gifts and to recognise that we are Spirit. However, in doing this, we are also taking on past life concepts that are embedded in the aura at this point. This is where my research into the eight Trans-Neptunian planets comes into focus. These bodies are presumed to be vibrating at such a high frequency that they are not solid matter, but are vortices of energy that are in orbit at the outer most region of the solar system. One of these T-N’s, Hades, represents a deep wound from an often ancient lifetime when we created a false concept about life due to the suffering and the death experience we had undergone. Many healers, for example, were persecuted in centuries past for the powers they possessed. So this lifetime presents an opportunity to reinstate these gifts for the sake of planetary healing. But the concept states that "healing with these ancient modalities produces suffering''. Chiron says "yes" and Hades says "no". This is unconscious sabotage. I have seen the polarity of Chiron and Hades working against each other in every chart that I have encountered through my work. The most potent healing of these issues has occurred through the use of the Waratah Essence combined with other Essences that relate specifically to the nature of the wound or the modality that is blocked. To me, the Waratah resembles the head of the Buddha - the "thousand petalled lotus" of the crown chakra. It is the red colour that corresponds to the etheric level of the base chakra, I read this signature as "the essence to heal survival trauma at the crown chakra level" as when we try to access the gift from the past. Hades tells our auric system that we are suiciding. The matter of diagnosing disturbances at this level is a tricky one. I have even seen Hades issues sabotage kinesiology through the Causal Body. It is also very difficult to prescribe modalities for oneself in this area. Affirmations do not work here either, as they operate through a lower function of the sub-conscious mind. Besides, the conscious mind (which we must engage in order to articulate an affirmation is subject to the Causal Body at subtle levels, so the patient/client won't remember to say the affirmation in the first place. Quite often Hades will cause problems with the functions of other chakras. An example is a Moon/Hades contact (by geometrical degree). The moon represents the Soul which is the relationship between the Spirit aspect and the ego personality, or matter aspect. The soul is made up of all our past life-time memories, stored as emotions, in the ethereal fluidium that connects our cells together. For example, this is why some bodies react so violently to the sight of mice. It is not the intellect that has positioned the person on top of the table, it is the subconscious reactions to a memory (perhaps of rats in dungeons) being triggered in the body itself. Then the base chakra releases the "fight or flight'' hormones for survival. When a Hades issue is connected to the Moon, it is much closer to the surface and may produce an emotional reaction rather than a cold concept about the problem. The moon also directly influences the solar plexus chakra, and specifically the stomach. A Hades/Mars contact may distort the energy in the sacral centre where our ego identity and lower will functions. This can also affect our physical mobility when taken to extremes. Hades may cut back the life force that is magnetized into the body via the iron in the blood. Hence, anaemia and spleen problems could be the result. Red Grevillea combined with Waratah certainly helps these issues when Hades is the culprit. The Astrology chart also reveals the specific past life issues involved in the blockage. For example, it may have been a traumatic experience when engaged in pioneering work that established authority figures of the day did not approve. All sorts of nasties befell those of us who dared to think differently in centuries past. Certain Saturn aspects are normally present in these scenarios and we then need to add Red Helmet to our Waratah formula. All of the chakras can be read in this way, as well as utilizing the current planetary positions that effect the birth chart by "transit''. The timing for chakra development becomes obvious. It can be seen at a glance whether Hades will interfere in the process. The mid-life transition between 39 and 42 years of age, approximately, is an important time to consider causal body blockages as it represents the final battleground of the Ego and the Spirit. Hades may be particularly strong here, as it "argues" with Chiron about our life direction. Aquarius, the signature of the New Age we are fast approaching, is actually associated with vibrational frequency - the healing modality of the future. The Waratah essence is certainly the Essence of our time, and I consider it to be the backbone of true healing for all conscious people as we move into the era of the Aquarius/Leo polarity: the opening of the heart through the conquering of fear and the gaining of strength, courage and Ego detachment to support each other, both collectively and individually, as we finally approach an understanding of matter as Spirit. *** 2.
