We believe that we've taken a simple science, and made it even simpler! FLOWERBASE was pioneered in the late eighties by Greg James Hernon, an Australian Scientist who originally specialised in Materials Science, but was interested in understanding and exploring the metaphysics of matter. This led him to studying homoeopathy, and learning about the Eastern philosophy of matter and consciousness through the teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, a Kriya Yoga master. Eventually, he was led to working with flower essences, and worked as a therapist for several years in a busy Melbourne practice, and it was his interest in computers and the essences which formed the basis for the development of FLOWERBASE. His earlier engineering work had given him a lot of experience in Quality Assurance, and he was able to design methods of flower essence diagnosis where the computer was used to drive a procedure, rather than using the computer's "left brain" logic to mathematically assess remedies. |
Over time, FLOWERBASE has grown into an industry standard, with thousands of users world wide using the system to quickly diagnose a clients emotional symptoms, and flower remedy needs.
